The point of this blog was to give insight into my life and times here in Knoxville, and I suppose it just wouldn't be fair to keep you in the dark on a very important part of my life.

There's been some intrigue in my life lately. There's that whole "Spoken for" listing in my profile status that was never explained. I was spoken for, yes. But I wasn't letting you know anything about it. Then there was that cryptic Spring Break post a few days ago. No details as to why things were unfolding the way they were...just a "Hey, it's Spring Break and I'm not getting homework done."

Let's shed some light on the mystery, shall we?

The reason I wasn't accomplishing much work during Spring Break (other than the fact that it's...well, Spring Break) is because I was getting to spend some incredible time with my girlfriend Erin.

Uh oh. The cat's out of the bag!

Erin and I have known each other for many months now. As the months have passed we have grown increasingly fond of each other. Her visit was very good because it gave us some real face-to-face time and proved to us both that we really do get along quite well. Quite well is an understatement. The comfort I feel with her is at times beyond my belief.

So, while I will spare you the details of the fun we had sightseeing, hiking and talking for hours on end I will let you know that her visit here is an exciting step forward for us and we mutually feel tremendously happy and blessed.
