A peek at the life, times and thoughts of John during his two-year stint in Knoxville.

Yesterday I fufilled a preaching engagement in Englewood, Tennessee. Because my car decided it doesn't want to move these days I rode out with a preaching school pal who was preachng a few miles down the road.

 

On our way home we stopped in Sweetwater (a name I mention just because it sounds so good) and were eating. As the time came to leave I did something that was determined by my friend to be a redneck maneuver.

 

Nevermind that he's from Alabama, he found this tactic absolutely ridiculous. I don't see it as redneck myself, so you can judge whether is "College didn't take the redneck out of you," remark is justified.

 

Myself, I see nothing redneck (or wrong) with wrapping the remaining dinner roll in napkins, stuffing it in your coat pocket and taking it with you on your way. Is that so redneck? :-)
